Well........I think it's a great idea, and I intend to give this a go myself. Thanks for sharing!

You can do the old fashoned oatmeal in a large measuring cup (I think I use a 4 cup pyrex one as it kind of foams up while cooking) - one cup water, 1/4 cup oatmeal, microwave for 2 1/2 minutes and it is done and fresh every morning. Sometimes I add raisins before I cook it. A little brown sugar Splenda and skim milk and you are all set! Seems easier than freezing it...

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. I think it would be a great idea for a young family who is always so busy on school mornings. Now that you've done it for a couple of days, what do you think?

Oops, I made an error in my directions in my last comment. You need to put in 1/2 cup of Old Fashioned Oats with 1 cup of water!
