This will be a quick post - I've been meaning to show this pin I bought. I saw it on Etsy months ago and saved it as a favorite - I was sure someone would buy it but after a few months I checked back and it was still available and on sale so I figured it was a sign.
I love pins but never wear them. I don't wear the right kind of clothes to pin them to. I should figure out a way to display them.
My mother always had a pin on her jacket. When we went through her clothes after she passed away each lapel had a different pin on it. Maybe I should start wearing jackets.

I love pins too...but seldom wear them. Displaying them in a special way is a great idea! I'll have to research that! : )

I love that pin! Would totally wear it. You could get an old timey fabric purse and pin it to that and display it. Or make a fabric topiary tree and put all of your pins on the tree. Totally cover it with pins and tie a ribbon around the little trunk. That would be cute. Google Miranda Lambert's wedding bouquet. It was gorgeous. Nothing but pins given to her by her friends and family at her shower. Loved the idea.

My favorite was her sequin jacket that she wore to parties. Remember that one? She looked so classy in that.

Very Elegant! I made shadow boxes for many of my now passed family members and always included at least one piece of jewelry in each framed box.
